Hi venvirupa!
Do you using this new version of CASTEd
http://casteng.com/download/CASTEd.zip
or an older one from SDK package?
The newer one is slightly better with loading models. If it crashes when loading an .obj please send the model to me.
Thanks for the file. DDS support will appear soon.

oh and if you need to load dds (direct draw surface) files that would be cool um i have done some work on this examining the RFA format in battlefield vietnam files (they are a flat archive that can load lots of files quickly) useful for quicker game loads of textures etc see RFACON.zip at http://sites.google.com/site/venvirupa/filestore

hi using Delphi 7 pro um i have a problem that i think is related to file loading it comes up with nothing when it tries to load the water.cbf file i tried replacing it with one made from CastED but same result i traced it to the string load function returning nothing. I tried to load a wavefront OBJ into castED and i got a access error (in base bpl) on a small cup and range error on a 2000 poly file.

Thanks for your efforts  :)
